Ricardo Gardner voted 'Player of the Round'

Bolton Wanderer’s Reggae Boy Ricardo Gardner has become the first Barclays Premiership player to be voted 'Player of the Round' and joins this season's Team of The FA Cup. Gardner was among five players nominated for the award after his sterling performance against Arsenal who lost to Bolton 1-0 in the fourth round. Of the 15,000 votes cast on website TheFA.com, Gardner won 37 percent of the votes. Other players included Manchester United’s Rio Ferdinand, Stoke's Ed De Goey, Colchester United’s Neil Danns and former Brentford striker DJ Campbell.
