Peter Cargill Dies In Motor Vehicle Accident
Former national midfielder and former national U 23 coach Peter Cargill, died Saturday April 16 from injuries received in a motor vehicle accident in Jamaica. Early reports suggest that a bus in which he was traveling, crashed along the main road between Runaway Bay and Discovery Bay in the parish of St. Ann. Cargill was on his way to Montego Bay for Sunday's match between Waterhouse, the premier league football team he coached and Wadadah. Cargill, who represented Jamaica 84 times, was also a member of the history making Reggae Boys squad that qualified for the 1998 World Cup in France.
